back in august, we went on a little family vacation with the husband's fam to solvang. we stayed in a cute, homey cabin like setting, jace's very first vacation! it was a much needed getaway where we all enjoyed good food, good company, a day of competitive and fun archery, naps, scenic walks, exploring the little historic town, and mine and ryan's first date night! (thank you auntie tyler!)
to sum it up our mini vacation was p e a c e f u l....just what we needed. i'm looking forward to many more family vacations with my little family because those are when many of my fondest memories are made since I feel like all the daily stresses and worries of life fade away for the time being. and sometimes, that's all we need.
